Hello, Allen Eagles!
I can't believe we have been reading and learning at home for more than a week! My daughters are home from college, but they are still "going to class" online just like you, so it very much still feels like school in my house. I hope you have been reading the stack of library books you checked out just before we left, and I hope you are sharing these with your families. I, too, brought home many books I have wanted to read for a while, and I am making some time for this each day.
My activity page for this week:
Following THIS LINK should give you a Google slide where you can find links to some of my favorite things to do this week. Check out my read aloud of Bear Came Along, follow links to some great graphic novel activities by Jarrett Lerner, make sure you vote in the March Book Madness contest that is still ongoing, and older students can follow links to some special online activities related to Project Lit authors.
Updates to the library website:
I have been making some changes to the LIBRARY WEBSITE to help give you easier access to the many online choices recently available for free when schools are closed. Your grade level links remain the same, but I have added tabs for READ, EXPLORE, and PROJECT LIT. For some sites on the READ tab, you will need log in codes:
Epic: You may use class code rbz8799 for access during normal school hours
Tumblebooks:
TB Library Username: tumble735 Password: books
TumbleMath Username: tumble2020 Password: A3b5c6
AudioBookCloud Username: tumble2020 Password: A3b5c6
Keep reading, imagining, and creating. I hope we can share stories in person very soon!
Mrs. Woelmer
